McCormick’s main goal has been: SPEND TAXPAYER MONEY AS FAST AS POSSIBLE. Buildings on the SCC campuses are built WITHOUT CONSIDERATION for functionality, heating/cooling costs, faculty/staff/student spaces, storage, maintenance, security, trips to various conferences, and many other expenses paid for by the community.

Vote for the candidate that has DEMONSTRATED actual commitment to the community through their actions and that is David Bruno. Choose David Bruno for the practical, common sense experience.

McCormick has only LIBERAL backing with the majority (9 out of 11 board members) of the Democratics/Independents on the SCC BOARD OF GOVERNORS (Neal Stenberg, Arlyn Uhrmacher, Vicki Haskell, Matt Haden, Brandon Gunther, Chuck Byers, James Sherwood, and Joann Herrington Pitcher).
"However, a school district can override the soft cap with a vote of 70% of the district’s school board. The new maximum base growth percentage that could be approved would be the allowed base growth percentage plus:
7% for districts with an average daily membership (adm) of no more than 471 students
6% for districts with an adm of more than 471 students but no more than 3,044 students
5% for districts with an adm of more than 3,044 students but no more than 10,000 students
4% for districts with an adm of more than 10,000 students"
